The McDowell Board of REALTORS was organized to promote common business interests within McDowell County, North Carolina by providing a medium that connects real estate professionals in the community for the benefit of REALTORS and their clients. The board is dedicated to the advancement of professionalism in the industry and is committed to maintaining a high level of ethical business practices.

Jannell Peterson transitioned to the real estate industry in the fall of 2021 after a successful 15+ year career as a registered nurse, driven by her passion for serving others and her deep roots in Burke County and McDowell County.
