Congratulations to Our 2025 Scholarship Winner!

We’re proud to announce the recipient of this year’s McDowell County Board of Realtors $2,000 Scholarship — Garrett Bingham!

Garrett was recognized during the award ceremony held the morning of June 4 at McDowell High School. He will be attending McDowell Technical Community College to pursue a career in welding through their Welding Technology Program.

Garrett stood out among this year’s applicants for his strong work ethic and commitment to a hands-on career path that keeps him close to home while contributing to our local workforce.

We wish Garrett the best of luck as he begins this exciting journey at MTCC!
